Striker with a reputation for consistently scoring and strong holder of the ball. Manchester City Supporters Club player and season ticket holder. Scored in the Third Team's Whitehead Cup Final win in 2011 and part of the same team's Division C title winning side in 2011-12.  Top goal scorer in the 2015-16 season for the Thirds.

Made his debut for Mellor as a First Team sub against Whalley Range in October 2012.  Quick striker currently playing for the Second Team although has featured for the First team on several occasions.  Great eye for goal.

Third Team Manager / Club Secretary

Started as a player with the Fourths, became their manager after a year at the club.  Led the Fourth team to the Hellawell shield final in his first season in charge, missing out by the odd goal in extra time.  The following season he took over the Third team and went on to win the Whitehead Cup.  Won the Division C title the year after and gained promotion to Division B.  In 2015-16 his Third team were promoted to Division A, the highest standing for a Mellor Third team.

Third Team Assistant Manager

Can play in a variety of positions and is calm on the ball. Reads the game well, can pick out a precision pass and also has a keen eye for goal. Played in the Third Team's Whitehead Cup Final win in 2011 and part of the same team's Division C title winning side in 2011-12. Cemented a starting role in the centre of midfield for the Thirds in the 2015-16 season and was voted as Player’s Player of the season.

Baggers

Joined Mellor from Govan in season 2010-11, playing mainly in the Thirds. An all-rounder who has played at full back, midfield and as a striker. Played in the Third Team's Whitehead Cup Final win in 2011, he came on after 84 minutes and scored three minutes later. Also part of the same team's Division C title winning side in 2011-12 when he was voted Player of the Year.

Strong defender who is a great reader of the game.  Has coached in the USA and now runs his own business supplying coaches. Has a nickname for everyone at the club! Took over from hosting the end of season presentation nights following the retirement of George Dearsley, his jokes are worse!

Part of the Third team who were promoted from Division B to Divison A in 2015-16.  Young, quick and can play either as a winger or a striker.  Hounds defenders and is great at winning the ball back.  Fluent in Spanish after spending some of his earlier years living there.

Experienced full back who played mainly for the Second Team and now the Third team although he has appeared on occasion for the First Team.  Part of the same team's Division C title winning side in 2011-12. Reliable player who is a good laugh on and off the pitch.

Strong Centre Back who has grown in ability since joining the club as a young lad.  Part of the same team's Division C title winning side in 2011-12.  Now captain and leading dressing room joker for the Third team.

Joined Mellor as a young lad, following in the footsteps of his older brother Matt.  Very versatile, has played at centre back, centre forward and also on the left. Always chips in with a few goals. Off the pitch he is a Personal Trainer.

Quick winger with great abilty when the ball is at his feet.  Can play on either flank and deliver a great cross.  A keen photographer who has had front and back page publications!

Made his debut for the Thirds in a 4-4 draw, scoring all 4 and was quickly promoted to the First Team where he has become a regular.  Scored a great goal in the Rhodes Cup Final defeat 2015-16.

Can play in net, full back or up top. No nonsense player.  Joined as a Fourth team player and was then part of the Third Team who won the Whitehead Cup in 2010-11 and Division C 2011-12.

Had played a handful of times on/off before joining full time in 2015-16 as part of the Third Team.  Quick and skillfull Pat can play wide or in the centre of the park.

Part of the Mellor youth team, Joe went on to play for the Second Team.  Unfortunate with two bad knee injuries which have prevented him from making more appearences.
