Back to the league and the fixture changed to St Thomas’s req against a Spurley team who always put in a good shift and go till the end. This game was no different, even though we played really well. Jerome got us in to the game with a volleyed lob from the edge of the box and also won us a penalty in the first half, put away by jubby. It did take a while to get into the game and get the advantage, however we always looked dangerous. We continued the second half pressing and looking for goals. Jack Parr was immense as now expected this season and got MOM award. We got another 3 in the second half. Avi came on with 25mins to go, returning from injury and immediately harassed and pressed and looked sharp. Avi also scored a penalty to the disappointment of Tez Boon who fancied it. Valentine and lebo got the other 2. Porter and Mike white came on and made good impacts also from the bench, showing the quality and importance of the squad over the course of the season. A great 5-1 return to the league it was and another fixture won and onto the next one.
